Sales Associate

The Sales Associate reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for
engaging with the customer on the sales floor.

1. To be punctual for work each day, present on the shop floor at the time
your shift starts.
2. To assist the management with covering the sales floor and engaging the
customer.
3. To make suggestions and assist the customer where needed.
4. To provide product knowledge when applicable.
5. To wear branded company clothing which will be provided to you. While there
is a company policy in place with some garments ( i.e.: flip flops, midriff baring
merchandise) you do have the choice to wear what is comfortable.
6. To merchandise and replenish stock with the management to gain full sales
capacity from the store.
7. To take part in training matters where necessary for all staff.
8. To be vigilant of security risk at all times and to ensure that you remain safe
while greeting and engaging all customers and are fully aware of all possibilities.
9. To implement company policy when using the cash register when cashing
out a customer. This may include recommending items at a further discount.
10. To carry out all regular duties in maintaining the care and condition of
the sales floor (i.e.: tidying, re-stocking, general housekeeping).
11. To understand the company handbook and understand all the rules therein.
Any other duties when asked which may be necessary for the successful running of the store.
